ORTL @ The Main Event 2008

October 29, 2008 by ohiolife

The effort to pass out pro-life ballots and fliers Monday evening, October 27th at St. John Arena was a great success!

Due to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, thousands of informative ballots and fliers were distributed!  Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy, however the spirit of the volunteers could not be dampened! Thanks again!

Abort73.com

October 27, 2008 by ohiolife

Abort73.com is an engaging website designed to inform students about the facts regarding abortion and has over 200 pages of content!

“Simply put, we are out to educate young people about the injustice of abortion through a comprehensive and engaging website. The world wide web is a huge equalizer in the realm of information distribution, but it has never been fully tapped in the fight against abortion. We’re not using our website to educate people about an organization, a project, or an event. We’re focusing squarely on abortion itself, presenting the facts point by point, utilizing the unique format of the internet, believing that a well structured website can be the single most effective way to educate a huge cross section of young people about abortion.”

Greater Columbus Right to Life

October 27, 2008 by ohiolife

“The mission of Greater Columbus Right to Life (GCRTL) is to ensure that all – from the moment of conception to natural death – are afforded the most basic and fundamental human right: the right to life.  Our vision is to bring an end to abortion in Franklin County by the year 2020.

One of the programs that GCRTL leads is 40 Days for Life, an ecumenical, faith-based effort made up of three key components:

1    Prayer and Fasting: inviting people of faith throughout our city to join together for 40 days of fervent prayer and fasting for an end to abortion.

2    Peaceful Vigil: standing for life through a 40-day peaceful public witness outside the local Samuel’s OB/GYN, 5910 & 5888 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus.

3    Community Outreach: taking a positive, upbeat pro-life message to every corner of our city through media efforts, church presentations, door-to-door advocacy, and public visibility.

This year we will close the 40 days by celebrating a Liturgy at the Time of Death for the Pre-born.  You and your congregation are invited to perform the liturgy with us on Sunday, November 2, at 3:30 p.m.  The liturgy will be performed at the abortion clinic, Samuel’s OB/GYN, 5910 & 5888 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus.  This is a straightforward service of prayer and remembrance for the lives of preborn children brought to an abrupt end, to pronounce the blessing of the church upon these children and to ask for forgiveness for those who were performing the abortions.

I hope that you and many of your congregants will join us on November 2.  To help us estimate the number of people to plan for, please let us know if you will be joining us by calling our office at 614.445.8508.  You are also welcome to call for additional information about Greater Columbus Right to Life, 40 Days for Life, or the Liturgy at the Time of Death for the Pre-born.”

Ohio Right to Life PAC Launches Campaign Ad

WORDS DO MATTER BARACK!
WATCH THE AD THAT EXPOSES OBAMA!

Time and time again, Barack Obama fails to take a position, dodges questions or tries to be clever with a witty retort.

After touting the importance of what candidates say, we show voters using Obama’s own words how he lacks the conviction regarding critical issues which is necessary to be President.

His words say it all!
